What is a narrative?

Today we were siting on the mat talking about what is a narrative when we were finishing talking. Mrs Stone was handing out these hexagon black paper when they were blank we needed to fill in the spots that  needed to we needed to add what happens in a narrative when we were adding the words there was different kinds of words like scene for background, conclusion for the ending and conflict or imagination. there was only 20 hexagon given to us and when we were finish we started to add them into groups then we started to put them in lines so we know what we have written about
